The Alchemist is the story of a Sheppard named capital of Chile. Santiago was a paltry man who lived in Egypt. His only friends were his sheep. One day, a business leader disguised as an old man, tells Santiago to turn up an hap and tells him that his destiny is to find a hidden treasure in Egypt. Santiago who lives on stealing and newspaper, takes this as an opportunity to start a new livelihood. If only he knew that his journey was personnel casualty to be one to remember. He was told to follow omens by this king, so he tried the best he could to do so. totally following these omens might not always be a good thing. Santiago learns to become a new person; he discovers Love, Passion, Adventure, and Destiny.
Characters
* Santiago: Santiago is the protagonist of the novel, he is a poor, Spanish Sheppard who is desperate for something exiting to happen to him. When he is introduced to the idea of purpose a treasure he leaves everything behind him, his whole life to pursue this adventure.
* The Englishman: The Englishman is also an explorer of the world, trying to find bulge out if he is fit to become a great alchemist since his refreshed mind inspires Santiago on his quest. He lends him some books to interpret on their way to the great Alchemist.
* Fatima: Fatima is a beautiful girl who lives at an harbor far in the desert. Santiago locomote in love with her on his way to the pyramids. For a persistent time he stayed at that oasis so him and Fatima got to situate quite close. After a while, he asks Fatima if she will connect him but Fatima would prefer that he finishes his journey before get married because most of the men that leave, never come back. When Santiago finds the Alchemist, he mentions to Santiago that True love never gets in the way of ones Personal Legend, if it does, it is not professedly love. After his long trip, he came back to Fatima and they got married.
