Overview of the project,
This project intends to conduct a theory-practical project on the Impact of Colors from the great pharaohs area money box the modern Egyptian art in relation to The function of masks on the Egyptian art history. This research on the wholeow for investigate the relation between psychologies of colors in the antiquated Egyptian in relation to the contemporary art practice. This literature study will be used as a base for a practical part of this investigation. The researcher would to strike in this practice to come up with new styles and forms of antiquated art, yet, having same themes, motifs, and taste. By other words the researcher inadequacy to create a new layout of old Egyptian art, coupling in mind the meanings of colors from both historical stratum of view and from contemporary perspectives.
Introduction:
Colors were invented since the cave arts, since that season colors have turned into a great beak of communication between people; it delivered their message to others and also helped the artificer to create great art works since thousands of years ago.
hexad basic colors were used in Ancient Egyptian art - white, black, red, yellow, blue and green. A tiny pestle and mortar was used for grinding colors. The colors used were symbolic and all had different meanings. [1]
White - which was make from powdered limestone [2] represented purity, powerfulness and greatness, a sacred color.
Black - which was made from charcoal represented death and the night.
Red - which was made from ochre represented intent and victory, death and danger. It was also used to convey anger.
Yellow - which was made from iron oxide was often used to represent gold and and so used to convey that the subject was imperishable and indestructible. The eternal color used to depict the sun god.
